Summer Health & Wellness Education Series
Kusudi International Inc.’s Summer Health & Wellness Series brought together community members of all ages for a dynamic six-weekend program focused on education, wellness, and empowerment. Held at the James Weldon Johnson Community Center in Harlem, NYC, this series created a welcoming space for learning, connection, and personal growth.
Hosted across multiple weekends from July through August, the series featured a variety of engaging workshops, consultations, and interactive discussions designed to support both physical and mental well-being.
Participants had access to sessions such as financial literacy conversations inspired by Money Matters—What Jay-Z Said, pro bono physical therapy walk-ins, sports and fitness training, and youth-centered discussions like Teen Talks and Bro-Code, which explored the real-life impact of everyday decisions. Additional workshops addressed important topics such as medication awareness and decision-making strategies.
This initiative reflects Kusudi’s ongoing commitment to serving the Harlem community through accessible programming that educates, empowers, and promotes healthier lifestyles for individuals and families alike.
