Kusudi International 4th Annual Brunch Fundraiser
Virtual Edition
Kusudi International Inc.’s 4th Annual Brunch Fundraiser brought together supporters from around the world for a powerful and inspiring virtual gathering. Traditionally held in Harlem, NYC, this special edition expanded our reach globally, allowing our community to connect, reflect, and support a meaningful cause despite the challenges of the time.
The event featured keynote speaker Lydia Idem, an accomplished investor and advisor with over two decades of experience supporting and investing in startups globally, including a growing footprint across Africa. She delivered an insightful keynote, “Investing in Africa: How To Make Your Money Matter in a Post-COVID World,” encouraging attendees to think intentionally about impact-driven investing.
Serving as host was Frank E. Brady, an award-winning poet, educator, and youth engagement specialist known for his dynamic presence and ability to inspire through storytelling and spoken word. His energy helped guide the afternoon’s program, creating a meaningful and engaging experience for all attendees.
With music by DJ Lovely, the event fostered a space of connection, purpose, and inspiration.
Proceeds from the fundraiser supported Kusudi International’s mission to provide medically necessary surgical procedures for students in orphanages across West Africa. This event reflected our continued commitment to delivering not only critical medical assistance, but also hope and long-term impact in the communities we serve.
As a global nonprofit, Kusudi International Inc. continues to expand its reach through initiatives like our Summer Health & Wellness Series and international service efforts. Our work is grounded in four core areas:
-
Clinical Service Delivery & Supply Procurement
-
Education and Advocacy
-

This event stands as a testament to the power of community—demonstrating that even across distances, we can come together to create meaningful change.
